The minister asked us to tell someone what God had done for us this week. My mind went blank.
But soon God gave me an answer. The little girl sitting in front of me went
to the front of the church for the children’s sermon. The leader gave all the kids a triple decker
Oreo. Then the kids came back to their
seats and I saw this little girl pull off the top of her layered cookie and hand
it to her older sister as she climbed across to her seat. There was no hesitation, no forethought, no
presumption of thanks. She just handed
it to her.
What a glimpse of God himself! He gives me lots of nifty blessings like that.
